Matthew Blumenreich

Board Member

I am a proud board member of 33 Buckets Foundation, and currently practice law in Chicago as a commercial litigator.

For years, I followed 33 Buckets Foundation because of my long-standing friendship with Chairman Mark Huerta. I was always inspired by the organization’s commitment to serving people in underserved communities. When I was asked to serve as a board member, I was honored. Over the last two years, I have been extremely pleased with the success of the organization and the dedication of all team members, volunteers, and fellow board members.

As a former collegiate athlete, I still find great pleasure watching sports and staying active. I enjoy the outdoors, history, cooking, and spending time with close friends and family. I take great pride in my work ethic and desire to help others, which is a direct result of my parents, Alan and Ilene. My desire to help others and admiration for this organization led to my involvement as a board member. I hope to continue playing a role within the organization to help others in need.
